Someone By Your Side Through the Disability Benefits Process

Amber Prince is a paralegal at Clarkson Pennington Law, helping Alabamians pursue Social Security Disability benefits when health conditions prevent them from working. In addition to assisting clients, Amber plays an important role in the firm’s day-to-day operations.
Amber is currently training to become a lawyer. After completing law school, she plans to join her sister, disability attorney Abbey Clarkson, as another attorney at our family-run Alabama disability law firm. She also works closely with their other sister, Allison Humphrey, who serves as a paralegal at Clarkson Pennington Law.
Amber began working with Abbey in 2015 and has since become her trusted “right hand.” She meets with new clients, guides them through the intake process, and helps them navigate the often complex and challenging Social Security Disability system. Amber understands the hardships clients face while waiting for benefits and is always eager to explore options that may help ease their burden.
With a diverse background in customer service and office administration, Amber brings strong interpersonal skills to her work. Her experience allows her to identify clients’ needs quickly and support them during difficult times in their lives.
Amber holds an associate’s degree in applied science with an office administration/paralegal option, as well as a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice.
Amber and her sisters grew up in DeKalb County as part of a large family. Today, she has a large family of her own and enjoys spending time with her husband and five children, supporting her kids in their extracurricular activities, which can feel like another full-time job, traveling, and attending concerts.
Clarkson Pennington Law assists individuals seeking disability benefits in Birmingham, Gadsden, North Alabama, Montgomery, the Black Belt, Mobile, the Gulf Coast, Chattanooga, throughout Tennessee, and across the Southeast.
